This month in science David has been absent for a week and Jaime was our teacher for a week. That week that we spent with Jamie we was working with our groups on testing water from Brooklyn, fish tank water, and school water. We tested if the different kinds of water had chlorine and hardness. We also worked on some work sheet. Jaime wasn't here for a few weeks. We had a substitute for like a day and we was given a survey. Human Impact Institute came to our class every Friday to guide us through our project. When david got back we walked around the school and asked people a couple questions about each topic, which is water, transportation, energy, and waste, we also started working more on our projects, what we did was draw a couple image for our slogan, then we had to pick one image that was our best and post it on a piece of paper.
This month in science I really don't remember a lot of things I learned , but one thing I can say I learned was that the school water has chlorine. Another thing I learned was how to test water for minerals, waste, and chlorine. Something else I learned was that when you go out to ask people questions no everybody is going to stop and most of them have attitude, and they lie most the time about having time to stop and answer. Last thing I learned was that its not always easy to do group work because some people dont be wanting to do what they have to do.
